Autonomous Event Van Manager / Lead Barista

Are you an experienced barista who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves the buzz of events?

Bean Brewed is looking for a motivated and reliable Event Van Manager / Lead Barista to run our second coffee van across festivals, markets, and events around Melbourne and regional Victoria.

This is a unique opportunity to run the van like your own business—without the financial risk. You’ll have autonomy, responsibility, and the chance to grow the role while being supported by an established brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing consistently excellent coffee and managing full barista operations

• Opening and closing the van at events

• Hiring, training, and managing event staff

• Handling the POS/register, stock control, and inventory

• Communicating directly with the owner regarding operations

• Seeking out and booking additional events to help grow the business

• Driving and towing our coffee trailer to event locations across Melbourne and Victoria

What we’re looking for:

• Strong barista experience and ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Confident leadership and team management skills

• A proactive mindset — someone who treats the van like their own

• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to event locations

• Confidence to learn and be trained in towing a trailer

• Excellent English communication skills

• Reliability and commitment to at least 12 months
