Experienced Barista Wanted – Commune Fitzroy

Commune is a popular weekend brunch café in Fitzroy, known for specialty coffee, quality food and a busy, welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for an experienced and confident barista who can handle high-volume coffee service on busy weekends while being comfortable working solo. You’ll need to be fast, organised and consistent, while maintaining a high standard of coffee and customer service under pressure.

Essential:

* Solid specialty coffee experience

* Experience working in high-volume service

* Comfortable working independently and solo when required

* Strong espresso and milk texturing skills

* Confident with dialling in and maintaining coffee quality

* Reliable, professional and friendly

Advantageous:

Experience with alternative brew methods such as pour over, batch brew, cold brew, syphon, Turkish coffee and filter coffee.
