About the role
Glicks Cakes and Bagels Pty Ltd. is seeking a combination of part time and full-time Cafe/ Bakery All Rounder to join our team in Balaclava, South Caulfieldand Malvern locations, In his diverse role, you will contribute to the successful operation of our busy cafe and bakery, supporting our vision to provide exceptional customer service and high-quality baked goods.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service at the counter, including taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive customer experience

• Assisting with food preparation, including baking, and preparing filled bagels

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the cafe and bakery, including regular cleaning, restocking, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standard

• Flexible scheduling availability is required to accommodate varying shift requirements

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar cafe or bakery role, with a strong passion for food and customer service

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in cafe or bakery roles is required

• Must have Australian work rights
