Barista and wait staff

Job Description: 
As a Barista or wait staff member, you will be the face of our cafe, responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and specialty beverages and providing outstanding service to our customers. Your expertise and passion will contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Both the Barista or wait staff will be involved in.  Do not worry if you are wait staff and do not know how to make coffee we will teach you:

• Coffee and Specialty Beverages Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, including espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards. 

• Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to each customer, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. 

• Order Taking and POS Operation: Accurately take customer orders, handle cash and card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. 

• Cafe Cleanliness and Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the bar, seating area, and equipment. 

• Stock and Inventory: Monitor all supplies, including retail products and assist with restocking as needed. 

• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is well maintained and the store is clean and tidy.  

• Quality Control: Adhere to quality standards for food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service. 

Qualification and Experience: 

• Previous experience as a Barista/wait staff in a cafe or similar environment is highly desirable. 

• A passion for coffee and Chocolate and a desire to learn and expand knowledge. 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. 

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.   

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
