Barista

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our vibrant café team at Middleman Cafe in Scoresby, Victoria.

This role is full time, weekdays only, no weekends required, paid public holiday days off. All the benefits of working in an office but in the industry you love.

Need to have at least one year experience and have the people management skills to match your coffee making ability.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing a wide range of specialty coffee drinks to Middleman Caffeine Dealers' high standards
2. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive café experience for all patrons
3. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, including regular machine maintenance and stock replenishment
4. Collaborating with the wider café team to deliver efficient and seamless service
5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations
6. Supporting the continued growth and development of Middleman Caffeine Dealers'

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee brewing and presentation techniques
2. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
3. The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
5. Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
6. Relevant barista or hospitality qualifications are desirable, but not essential
7. People management skills
