Cafe All-Rounder

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Café All-Rounder to join our team. As a Café All-Rounder, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers while helping with day-to-day café operations. Whether you're serving customers, preparing simple food items, or supporting the barista, you’ll contribute to ensuring every guest has a great experience. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, organised, and excited about delivering great service with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service at all times, including greeting customers, taking orders, and managing enquiries.
2. Assist with food preparation, basic cooking, plating, and maintaining food presentation standards.
3. Operate the POS system efficiently, handle payments, and process transactions accurately.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, including tables, counters, equipment, and utensils.
5. Follow food safety and hygiene procedures in line with café standards.
6. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods.
7. Assist with opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the café is ready for the next shift.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cafe, takeaway, or fast-paced kitchen setting
• Ability to cook hot food quickly and consistently to order
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Must be reliable, punctual, and work well in a team
• Flexibility to work early mornings, as needed
• Punctual, reliable, and well-presented
