COOK / CHEF WANTED — NEW CAFE OPENING IN COLLINGWOOD
We’re gearing up to open our brand-new café in Collingwood and are looking for an amazing Cook/Chef to join our opening team!
COOK / CHEF
30–40 hours per week
As the café grows and customers start banging on the door for your delicious food, this role will naturally settle into consistent, full-time hours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone who can:
• Handle stock ordering & stock control
• Manage waste efficiently
• Maintain consistency across all menu items
• Jump in with all café operations when needed — dishes, serving, cleaning, etc.
Proven experience is essential, but formal qualifications aren’t mandatory (though definitely appreciated).
You’ll be working in a small kitchen space with a compact, seasonal menu that evolves with produce, tastes, and creativity. Most of the time you’ll be working solo in the kitchen, but the space is open and connected to the coffee and customer area — so we’re after someone proactive, efficient, organised, and comfortable working in view of customers.
