About This Role

This is a full time position with a consistent weekly roster of 7.00 am to 3.00 pm from Monday to Thursday, along with an early finish every Friday. Enjoy a stable routine, an early start and the outstanding benefit of never working weekends.

In this role you will focus on providing exceptional coffee every day at the newly built Kmart and Target Head Office. The cafe is conveniently located beside Chadstone Shopping Centre with ample parking and an easy commute, while still being set apart from the hustle and bustle in a modern and exclusive corporate environment.

You will be serving a professional regular clientele who value great coffee and consistent high quality service. This role is ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in their craft.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and serving high-quality specialty coffee with consistency and care.
• Providing outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly café atmosphere.
• Ensuring efficient workflow during peak service times, managing high-volume coffee service.
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the café.
• Operating and maintaining espresso machines and grinders to ensure optimal performance.
• Assisting with stock management, including ordering and restocking coffee supplies.
• Collaborating with the team to enhance the overall customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of barista experience in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Strong coffee-making skills, including dialing in espresso, milk texturing, and latte art.
• Passion for specialty coffee and an understanding of industry best practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
